Course Description
- This course is designed for existing Red Cross instructors to recertify their instructor award.
Certification
Valid for 3 years upon successful completion of course
Admission Requirements
The Instructor has taught a minimum of:
- Three Canadian Red Cross (first aid) courses during the three year period. One of the courses MUST be a full course of either Standard First Aid, Standard CCFA or Marine Advanced First Aid since obtaining the Instructor certification or recertification and one other stand alone Red Cross First Aid or Recertification course.
- Lifesavers MUST receive copies of course rosters certifying the above - before course commencement.
- Instructor online update MUST be completed prior to Recertification course - available November 1/11
- Complete registration form prior to course commencement
- Provide a parent or guardian signature if under 19
Cost
- Cost is $180.00 - Price includes textbooks.
There is no tax applicable on this course.
- Students must prepay seats to hold spot.
Time
8 Hours - one day usually held 8:30AM to 4:30PM
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to course start for registration to ensure the course can begin on time.
