Course Description
- This 3.5 hour workshop is designed to educate attendants and their supervisors about the attendants role in a workplace first aid program.
- This workshop reinforces first aid skills that focus on injured work referral decisions, documentation, transportation and follow up responsibilities.
- The workshop promotes team building between the groups responsible for the first aid program -including all levels of first aid attendants, supervisors, health and safety committees, etc.
- This workshop will improve the quality of injury documentation, highlight importants of good follow up care, and assist attendants and supervisors in understanding their roles.
The main target audience is level 1 to level 3 attendants, also beneficial for supervisors and occupational health and safety committee members
Certification
- The successful candidate will receive a Worksafe BC.
Admission Requirements
The candidate must:
- Complete the agency registration forms as well as exam application forms prior to course commencement.
- The forms must be completed entirely.
- Provide a parent or guardian signature if under age 19.

- Cost is $45.00 - Price includes manual
There is no tax applicable on this course.
