Red Cross First Aid Instructor Transfer
- Course focuses on how to teach and facilitate - not on learning first and and CPR.
- 16 hour course - held over one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Certification
Valid for 3 years upon successful completion of course
Admission Requirements
- Proof of current CPR-HCP certification
- Be at least 18 years of age
- One of the following: Proof of current pat First Aid Instructor with another recognized organization including the American Red Cross. OR CPR Instructor certification with another recognized organization. OR Current Red Cross WSI certification plus SFA with CPR-HCP or equivalent (NLS, AEC etc). OR Red Cross First Aid Instructor whose certification has been expired for five years or more, but less then ten years. OR be a teacher with an Education degree and teaching experience, together with current SFA CPR-HCP
- Ability to complete the skills effectively on their own, without coaching.
- Expected to have finely tuned first aid and CPR technical skills
- Successfully completed a pre-course knowledge and skills test
- Complete registration form prior to course commencement

- Cost is $500.00 - Price includes textbooks.
There is no tax applicable on this course.
