Course Description
- Course focuses on how to teach and facilitate - not on learning first aid
- This course is designed by Worksafe BC and follows their curriculum standards.
- 35 hour course - held over five day (Monday - Friday)
Certification
- Valid for 3 years upon successful completion of course
- Once certified, the instructor will have an entire course (in class) monitored of their initial course(s) to confirm competency - prior to the instructor being permitted to teach on his/her own.
Admission Requirements
Admission requirements of students for the Level 1 and Transportation Endorsement Instructor School:
The candidate must:
- Be a minimum of 19 years of age
- Provide photographic identification for proof of age
- Be in good health and physical condition
- Must have audited a complete Worksafe BC Level 1 and Transportation Endorsement course at Lifesavers First Aid Training within 2 months prior to this course.
- Proof of current Worksafe BC Level 3 certificate
- This is not an opportunity to learn first aid skills. Candidates skills MUST be up to standards.
- Skills are tested on first day of the course. Unsuccessful candidates will not be able to proceed through the remainder of the program.

- Complete the agency registration forms prior to course commencement. The forms must be completed entirely.
- Successfully completed pre-course assignments
Cost
$1000.00. Price includes books.
There is no tax applicable on this course.
Time
35 Hours - Six days usually held Monday - Saturday (8:30AM to 4:30PM)
