Roy and Lori Bernhardt opened Lifesavers First Aid Training in June 1997 (10+ years now). Business steadily growing - moved to our current location June 2005 (larger facility with more classrooms).

Our Team of Professional First Aid Trainers
Roy and Lori Bernhardt
Roy and Lori Bernhardt are experienced Level 3 first aid instructors. Roy’s background prior to teaching: skidder operator/first aid attendant in logging industry. Previous instructor for a volunteer firehall also. Lori worked in health care – in charge of a 40 bed facility while on shift for many years. Roy is a Level 3 Evaluator and provides the S-100 Fire Suppression program. Lori specializes in AED programs for workplaces, and is an Instructor Trainer with the Red Cross. Both Roy and Lori teach a wide variety of safety programs including the boat proficiency course to obtain the “Pleasure Craft Operator card”. They enjoy camping, boating and snowmobiling with son Steven. Roy loves fishing and hockey. Lori prefers dog sledding and hiking.
Trish Nielsen
Trish oversees the many administrative and clerical duties at Lifesavers and has provided her assistance on and off since company opened. She had taught Red Cross programs for Lifesavers in the past and is familiar with all programs offered by the company. Trish has also had experience as a first aid attendant in remote locations after completing her Level 3 at Lifesavers. Trish assists students registering in the Level 3 programs to find job placement. Trish enjoys socializing with her friends, dancing and camping with her family.
Fraser Burrows
Fraser instructs the Worksafe BC first aid Level 1 and Transportation Endorsement courses as well as Red Cross programs. He also teaches the safety programs: WHMIS, TDG, and Bear /Cougar Aware. Fraser took his first level 3 course at age of 16 and became a qualified cadet leader instructor also as a teenager. Fraser’s experience working as a Level 3 First Aid Attendant and his 5 years as a Paramedic with the BC Ambulance service have provided him practical knowledge of first aid emergencies. Fraser’s hobbies include theatrical display for non profit organizations as well as reconstructing movie memorabilia for sale online.
Michele Summer
Michele instructs a variety of Red Cross programs as well as the Level 1 and TE courses. She has had extensive background assisting individuals with special needs. Her imagination with scenarios and instructional enthusiasm repeatedly have students commenting her courses are informative and fun. Michele enjoys ballroom dancing, wedding and theme party decorating with her company, “Be-Dazzled” – email her at micheledoiron@telus.net if needing assistance with your special event.
Robin Stack
Robin has over 20 years teaching experience and currently works as a first aid attendant for CANFOR. He is recognized by all of the first aid training agencies in our area for his excellent in teaching the OFA programs. We are happy to welcome Robin Stack to our team at Lifesavers First Aid Training.
Brenda Dauphinee
“Jingles” instructs the H2S Alive program through ENFORM. She is a contractor for Lifesavers through her company, “BMD Safety Services”. She has also taught first aid programs for over 10 years. Jingles has been married for 25 years, has two children and a dog. She provides a lively H2S course and frequently receives rave reviews from her participants.
