Course Description
- This course is no longer required as this content is learned in the new Transportation Endorsement Course - Effective Sept 2010.
- 4 hour Worksafe BC program designed for the Level 1 or Level 2 ticket holder, teaching about safe use, storage and handling of oxygen. The student will also learn how and when to safely insert an oral airway for unconscious patients. Successful candidates will receive an Oxygen Therapy certificate.
Certification
- Valid for length of level 1 Certificate
Admission Requirements
- Must hold a current OFA Level 1 Certificate
- Must be 16 years of age to be certified
- Be in good health and physical condition
- Provide photographic identification to the instructor prior to issuance of a certificate
- Complete registration form prior to course commencement
- Provide a parent or guardian signature if under 19
Cost
- $55.00 - Price includes textbooks, and all supplies
There is no tax applicable on this course.
