Course Description
- This one day program teaches caregivers how to assess, treat and prevent emergencies specifically focused on the infant, child and adolescent ages.
- Includes CPR B level.
- This program is recognized by Community Care Licensing to meet standards for Childcare facilities and Daycares. (EFA and SFA are also recognized by Licensing.)
- Successful candidates receive the Canadian Red Cross Emergency Childcare certificate.
Certification
- Valid for 3 years upon successful completion of course
Admission Requirements
- Is recommended but not mandatory to be at least 14 years of age
- Complete the agency registration forms prior to course commencement. The forms must be completed entirely.
- Provide a parent or guardian signature if under age 19.
Cost
- Cost is $85.00 - Price includes textbooks.
There is no tax applicable on this course.
Your registration is considered "pending" until payment is received or guaranteed by a company. Until this happens, you do not have a spot in the course. We do accept Visa and M/C over the telephone or you can come into our office and pay cash or debit.
Time
8 Hours - one day usually held 8:30AM to 4:30PM
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to course start for registration to ensure the course can begin on time.
