Intermediate First Aid - Level 2

Course Description

• The Intermediate First Aid course (previously called Level 2) is now held over two days (previously 5 days).
• Students will cover all of the content learned in the Basic First Aid course and add on more skills and scenarios. More complex assessments and treatment skills are learned.
• Includes adult basic life support skills including single rescuer and two person CPR/AED.

Admission Requirements

• No prior knowledge required to attend this course.
• Provide a parent/guardian signature if under 16 years of age. *No minimum age requirement, but strongly recommend a minimum age of 16 years.
• Employers must ensure that a “Designated First Aid Attendant” is at least 16 years of age.
• Be physically capable of performing the necessary skills to demonstrate competency.
• Fees paid in full or approved for invoicing in writing.

Certification Requirements

• The candidate must provide photographic identification to the instructor prior to issuance of a certificate.
• The candidate must participate in the entire program and successfully complete course objectives.
